Delanie Seals
Delanie Seals is from Oklahoma and is a proud member of the Chickasaw, Choctaw, and Sac and Fox Nations. She received her Bachelor’s in Legal Studies and Master’s in Water Resource Policy Management from East Central University. She has served on the City of Ada Multiculturalism Committee and is part of the Harvard Future Leaders in Law Program and the Dirtroad Organizing Candidate Cohort. She was awarded the Oklahoma Native Students in Higher Education 2026 Rising Alumnus Award. Delanie has interned for Oklahoma Representative Mauree Turner, USAID, the Chickasaw Nation District Court, the Chickasaw Nation Office of Natural Resources, Oklahoma Indian Legal Services, the Udall National Center, for U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury, and as a Paralegal for the Chickasaw Nation Public Defender’s Office. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma City Community College, Chair of the Young Democrats of America Indigenous Caucus, and a student at Arizona State University Law. In her small amount of free time, she likes to study languages, read books, and make beaded jewelry.
