Tyler Dedrick

Tyler has been growing and engaging audiences for a decade. He is the audience manager for Mountain State Spotlight, an investigative newsroom covering West Virginia. Before moving into journalism, he spent five years in digital marketing for local businesses and online companies. His reporting has appeared in the Associated Press, Adams MultiMedia, Wisconsin Watch, Wisconsin Inno and Cronkite News. Tyler holds a master’s degree in Investigative Journalism from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication and a certificate in Digital Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
