Jessica Koski

Jessica Koski is Contributing Writer (Native Life). She is a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community on Lake Superior’s southern shore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Jessica worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for five years to support the restoration and conservation of Tribal natural resources, before moving to Vancouver where she is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of British Columbia’s Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability. She is a former member of the Rural America In These Times editorial board.
