Barn Raiser is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 media organization that publishes news, analysis, and information to support diverse, civically engaged, and dynamically connected rural communities. Our work is made possible through the generous support of foundations and individuals, and we will make public a list of all donors who give a total of $5,000 or more a year. We accept anonymous donations provided they are for general support only and represent a small percentage of our total donations. We retain full journalistic integrity and do not allow anyone to influence our coverage: we do not support or oppose candidates for political office, and all of our editorial judgments are made independently of donor support.
